Terms of Use

Effective 24 October 2026. These terms cover the Parlo app and website at parlotranslate.hamzayousr4.workers.dev (and any domain we move it to). Please read them with our Privacy Policy.

The short version. Parlo is a free AI translator. Translations are made by AI and can be wrong, so check anything important. Use it kindly and lawfully, keep your account secure, and you can delete your account at any time.

1. Who we are and agreeing to these terms

Parlo is run by Parlo ("we", "us"). By using Parlo you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. You can contact us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL].

2. What Parlo does

Parlo translates text you type, speech you say and text in photos you take, reads translations aloud, lets you save phrases to your Atlas, and offers AI-written travel guides. Some features need an internet connection. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

3. AI makes mistakes

Translations, voice recognition, photo reading and travel guides are produced by AI. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or unsuitable for your situation. Do not rely on Parlo for medical, legal, financial, safety or emergency decisions. Check anything important with a qualified person or an official source. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

4. Your account

5. Free plan and Parlo Plus

Parlo is free to use with daily limits on things like translations, photo translations and travel guides. The limits reset every day and may change; the current ones are shown in the app. You can pay for Parlo Plus for higher daily limits and a few extra features.

6. Using Parlo fairly

Please don't:

We may limit or stop access for anyone who breaks these rules or puts the service at risk.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you type, say, photograph and save. You give us permission to process it, and to pass it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, only as needed to run Parlo for you. Only enter or photograph things you have the right to use.

8. Third-party services

Parlo relies on services from other companies, including Google (Gemini), Microsoft (Azure AI Speech), Supabase and your browser or phone maker. They may have their own terms. We are not responsible for their services, and they may change or become unavailable.

9. Availability and changes

Parlo is provided free of charge and "as is". We aim to keep it running well, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free or work in every language, browser or device. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before anything is charged.

10. Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage that comes from using Parlo or relying on a translation, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded, or our liability where the law doesn't allow us to limit it.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Parlo at any time and delete your account as described above. We may suspend or end the service, or your access, if you break these terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell account holders. If you keep using Parlo after a change, you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where we are based, as stated in section 1, and its courts can decide disputes, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to use your own courts.
